Passionate chefs can be found at work in the KAORI, which incidentally means aroma in Japanese. This heightens the anticipation of the maki, futomaki, hosomaki, uramaki, nigiri and sashimi, which is how the colorful Japanese «bites of pleasure» are called. The delicacies are complemented by in-house creations. KAORI BOWLS, sushi rice with all kinds of the finest toppings, are a bowl of vacation and provide plenty of variety.

No matter whether it’s beer, wine or sake, the selection of drinks does not disappoint and the task of serving them falls to the knowledgeable and dedicated wine expert at the SEEDAMM PLAZA. It goes without saying that tea, typically served with Japanese food, can also be found on the menu.

The interior design is pure Japanese and the restaurant’s clear lines transmit urbanity and a sense of wellbeing.

Sukiyaki – Japanese fondue (for 2 or more people)

Sukiyaki, a kind of Japanese fondue, is particularly appreciated in winter. In this nabemono one-pot dish, meat, fish/seafood or, as a vegetarian option, tofu is boiled right at the table together with vegetables and shirataki noodles in a soy rice wine broth. This meal is served with rice.

You will enjoy a selection of maki, futomaki, hosomaki, uramaki, nigiri and sashimi, as the colorful Japanese specialties are called, as well as sushi variations created by the chefs themselves. We serve you a starter beforehand and then round off the menu with a dessert. At the KAORI table buffet, the dishes are placed in the middle of the table and everyone serves themselves as they please.
